I Am 22 Year Old With Minor High Blood Pressure

I am 22 year old with minor high blood pressure that is being treated already with medication, Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg, and I usually drink around 2 full cans of Monster Energy Ultra Blue (473mL per can) through the day which is usually a 18 hour period. I drank these when I only took 18mg of Concerta but now I'm upped to 36mg. Is it still okay to take both? (I usually find the energy drinks helps the Concerta work because I do not believe I am at the right dose as I don't usually find the pills effective, but since i just started them my doctor wants to see if it is just the dose first before we try something out. I forgot to ask her about the energy drinks.
