I Am 22 Years Old And For 1 Week I

I am 22 years old and for 1 week i have been experiencing numbness on both of my legs from my lower back all the way to my feet, i went to the emergency room were they did a xray on my back and they found inflammation on my back and said most likely a nerve is causing me to feel numbness and cramping on both of my legs. I have been taking the medicine that i was prescribed but the numbness has actually got worse and i can't stand for long.
