I Am 22 Years Old And Have Been Having Severely

I am 22 years old and have been having severely itchy skin and pain when drinking alcohol for over 8 months. Two months ago I had an esr of 40 and this past month I was tested again and my esr was 50. It's Increasing. My doctor doesn't seem to know what could be causing it or does know and won't tell me. What do you think could be causing it?
