I Am 27 Years Old. For The Past One And

I am 27 years old. For the past one and half years i have been facing irregular periods. I am on an Ayurvedic medication and my periods become regular,once i have those meds. My cycle usually varies from 30 to 35 days. The last period occurred on 27th Feb and ideally i should have got my period on March 1st. However, its late by almost three weeks now. I did a home pregnancy test last night and it gave me a positive indication. Please advise on further steps, as I am not sure if I am pregnant. Could it b a false result? I am not yet ready to have a child.
