I Am 37 Weeks Pregnant I Have Been Spotting On

I am 37 weeks pregnant I have been spotting on and off since yesterday with cramping and back ache that also come and go I am feeling extremely fatigued today. Yesterday i went in to get checked and I was having mild contractions and was 1.5 cm dilated so they sent me home and said that it's possible to be like that for a while before delivery but since the spotting has not stopped should I go back?
