I Am 39 Years Old. I Had A Heart Attack

I am 39 years old. I had a heart attack and quintuple bypass surgery 21 months ago. I am otherwise healthy 6 foot tall and weighing 170 lbs. I am neither a smoker and rarely drink alcohol. The main culprit in my heart attack seems to be my family history. In regards to family planning my wife and I have discussed me having a vasectomy. Would there be any complications in proceeding with this plan of action?
