I Am 4 Weeks Post Op Of Vaginal Hysterectomy. The

I am 4 weeks post op of vaginal hysterectomy. The first few days home i couldnt tatse anything as if it would be if you had a cold BUT day 5 i began to get an awful taste in my mouth so bad that i cant eat anything. I have lost over 15lbs in 3wks due to thos awful tatse in my mouth. I have not taken any pain medication since 1st wk of surgery and im not on any antibiotics or anything. I have asked my Dr what wpuld cause this and he said he does not know he has never heard of it happening. Plz help
