I am 40 weeks and 4 days pregnant. I went into the hospital for an ultrasound and a nonstress test at 40 weeks and 2 days. I was told I was only half a centimiter dilated and about 80 to 90% effaced. I am scared that my baby will aspirate his first poop if he is in there too long. Should go ask my doctor to induce me today?
