I Am 44 With No Premenopause Symptoms. I Had A

I am 44 with no premenopause symptoms. I had a tubal 10 years ago. My husband and I had sex 7 days ago. Friday I thought my period was starting but it was just a brown discharge and nothing else since. I have never had that happen before, except when I was pregnant. Is there a possibility of a pregnancy or should I wait another week to see if my period starts and then take a test?
