I Am 45 And Have Strep Throat For The Third

I am 45 and have strep throat for the third time in less than a year. My children also get it a few times a year- except the one who has his tonsils out. A few years ago we discoveredy husband has psoriasis- he only had one bad break out- but we went to a dr and that's what it was. That dr mentioned something about a relationship between psoriasis and strep. Could we be getting strep because he's a carrier?
