I Am 45 Year Old Woman. I Was On Ovral

I am 45 year old woman. I was on ovral L from past one and half year. I use to get my periods as spotting. so i stopped the pills last month. i didnt get my periods yet. what should i do. I am not sexually active past 2 and half months. i am worried .. what should i do now to get my periods and can i continue with the samwe pill.. if so when should i start. please suggest for contraception. i am fine in all other aspects like BP, diabetes or any endocrine problems
