I Am 46 Year Old Man And I Have 7.7

I am 46 year old man and i have 7.7 uric acid doctor prescribed me zyloric 100mg and i am taking since 1 and 1/2 month but recently i found that my uric acid level is same 7.7 and i am vegetarian and also i didnot take wine, no smoking nothing. I don't understand what to do because i have pain in my right hand thumb, and also irritation in leftarm knee and also i have somuch dandruf onmy head and i lost my 80 percent hair when i explain the doctor about my problems he says that all problems i have due to high uric acid.
Kindly suggest something which is needful to me.
