Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 47 years old and slipped while climbing down staircase a month back. This led to wedge compression of my L1(based on x-ray). Took bed rest for 4 weeks based on doctor's advice. As there is no relief in pain, doctor suggested to go for MRI. MRI impression is as below: L5 vertebra appears sacralised with rudimentary L5/S1 disc Mild diffuse posterior bulging of L3/L4 and L4/L5 discs indenting thecal sac Facetal arthropathy at L3/L4 and L4/L5 level Mild anterior wedging of D12 vertebra with indentation of superior end plate. What is the best treatment or solution for above symptoms?
