I am 48 female, with symptoms of unwellness for about 8 wks. Fatigue that lasts all day, muscle weakness, electrical-like sensations throughout body that are very painful and last 24-7, primarily on left side body, but also throughout rest of body (could be on left thigh, then right foot, shoulder, etc.). Numbness & tingling on arms & legs. Clumsiness, dropping things multiple times through day, gait issues, feel likei'm very unsteady and tend to veer to the right when standing. Headaches when first wake up, stiff neck, with nausea, also spasm-like pain top & side of eyes. Itchiness throughout body all day/night. Blurry vision on left eye. Family doc has referred me to neurologist, eye specialist, and physiatrist for nerve tests. MRI came back with some degenerative disk disease in Cervical spine. Head shows tiny punctuate non-specific foci of T2 prolongation in frontal lobe white matter. Will take 5-6 months for neurology app't, even with Doctor requesting urgent app't. Wondering if I should continue the wait for app'ts or go into emergency dep't. There are such long waits for urgent care in Ontario, Canada.
