I Am 48 Yrs Old Sufferred (due To A Fall)

I am 48 yrs old sufferred (due to a fall) from a comminuted fracture involving lateral tibial plateau with no significant depression/fragment displacement on my left leg. Mild joint effusion with mild edema seen in adjoining tissues. No ligament injury/other injuries seen. These were based on MRI report done after 2 weeks of the fall. The Doctor put my leg on braces for 6 weeks and also advised a walker. Now 6 weeks elapsed and based on X ray report now he has recommended physiotherapy. I am under PT now. Now I have started walking with the affected leg with some support of walker also as advised by doctor.
1. How much more period i have to wait to walk normally without any assistance.
2. When normal weight can be put on the affected leg as before.

regards,
vinod
