I Am 50 Year Old Woman. I Had Premenopausal Symptoms

I am 50 year old woman. I had premenopausal symptoms that were hard to manage. I had an IUD Mirena put in 5 years ago November. I am not having hot flashes (no sweats), insomnia and what feels like menstrual cramps. I was wondering if the progestin in the IUD is no longer working and would it be worth going on estrogen therapy or maybe having another IUD since I could be having menopausal symptoms for the next few years.
