I Am 50 Years Old, 6 Feet And About 200

I am 50 years old, 6 feet and about 200 pounds. I have some history of herniated discs in my lower back, but it is not debilitating. Two weeks ago I went for a run. After the run I notice the second toe on each foot is numb. It has been that way now since. Could this be related to my back? My back generally feels fine right now, but about once a year it goes out on me. I have never had any issues with pain or numbness down my legs. Any suggestions on what might be happening and if it will go away?
