I Am 50 Years Old, And Have Only Had Once-in

I am 50 years old, and have only had once-in a while sweats at night. I usually get regular periods (I have two teenage girls at home!), but I just got a second period in two weeks. Is this a sign of premenopause, or something more serious? (My mom died of uterine cancer)
