I Am 51 Yr Old Female Recently Within The Past

I am 51 yr old female recently within the past year I have gained 20 pounds, I have noticed that I am not now when I use to complain of being cold. My breast are sore sometimes had mammogram over 1but ago everything was ok. I take care of my parents as they both now live in an assisted living facility. My mother has a lot of health issues most recent is terminal cancer maybe 3 to 6 mths, father has progressed Alzheimer's. Wondering if my weight gain and hot flashes are menopause or due to stress from parents health issues and that I am the only child interested in helping them
