I Am 53 Yr Old Female 16 Wks Post Rotator

I am 53 yr old female 16 wks post rotator cuff surgery stopped pain meds 3 wks ago due to allergic reaction & surgeon released me. I have been doing therapy 3 times a week and have sharp pain at top of head down to jaw/cheek and down thru shoulder that had surgery. Rest or exercise pain is still there should i go to ER? Have primary dr appt end of nov
