I am 54 yrs old. I do walk 3x a week up to 2miles a day. I had two fusions 11 months apart the first was an L4-5, laminectomy, spondylolistheses, repair refractive, and fix impinging cysts. That causes permanent nerve damage. 11 mths later I testst positive for Hoffman's, Babinskis's- all signs for positive Myleopathy. I was scheduled for an ACDF fusion with myelopathy that day. It was very painful having those two surgeries so close together. I had an MRI 2 yrs. ago. I had severe none marrow edema.almost every level had change, my fr 0steopath) at,the time said I simply had "arthritis" and get used to it. I've been on the same pain, was or 5 yrs. I'm having difficulty sleeping, doing daily activities, sitting is difficult, tracelomgm on the car over and hour is nearly imposssible. I have Kaiser Permante Insurance. Shouldn't they want to follow my spine with MRI's since every level has issues now, my pain meds are exactly the same from 5 years ago, I have increased pain. My husband doesn't want me on any pain medication even though he takes it and smokes pot. What can I do when I talk to my doctor so he knows,I want a little more pain relief? Warmly, Karen
