I Am 57 Year Old Female. On The Left Side

I am 57 year old female. On the left side of my side my skin hurts to the touch. Even my clothes hurt touching it. But if I touch it and push on it, it doesn't hurt much. It isn't real painful, but nagging all the time. It started two days ago. What could this be?
