I Am 57 Yr Old Diabetic. Earlier Today, I Noticed

I am 57 yr old diabetic. Earlier today, I noticed between my big toe nail and the nuckle of the toe a redness. As the evening has progressed so has the redness, to the point is into the foot back to just beyond where the toe joins the foot. It seems to be much darker red. I have diabetic neropathy (excuse the spelling) in the foot and feel very little pain. Theres no fever in the area. Is this something I can wait until tomorrow to see my PCP?
