I Am 6 Weeks Pregnant. I Went To The ER

I am 6 weeks pregnant. I went to the ER because I was bleeding a little and had a dark red clot. They did blood test and ultrasound. My HCG level came back as 9000. They couldn't find anything on the ultrasound. They said I had a miscarriage because my obgyn found a sac while doing an ultrasound the other day. Dr at ER also told me i have an UTI. Is there any chance that I didn't suffer a miscarriage and the technician made a mistake.
