I am 60 and was recently diagnosed with osteoporesis. I have an appointment scheduled for mid January with my GYN but Id like to educate myself as to treatment options so I better understand our appointment. I do not know the severity of my diagnosis but wanted to see what WebMD information there may be. My mother had the disease and took Fosamax until it no longer helped her, I have also heard of women getting worse on meds and weights..regressing...
