Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 61 yrs old and a breast cancer survivor with a history of fibroids. They haven't been looked at for years. I had an ultrasound pelvis transabdominal and transvaginal. The findings say: the uterus shows evidence of multiple calcified masses, compatible with fibroids. Their presence obscured any clear visualization of the endometrial stripe. The 2 largest fibroids were measured in the posterior body and in the lower posterior segments. Respectively they measured 4.1 X 3.6 X 3.6 and 5.8 X4.7 X 5.1 CM. Neither atrophic ovary could be seen. No free fluid is seen in the cul-de-sac. I'm just curious if any of this is anything to be concerned about.
