I Am 62 Years Old And Have A History Of

I am 62 years old and have a history of gout but currently have had an episode ongoing since Thanksgiving, it transfers from one foot to the other and today it is in both feet. My PCP has tried so many meds without any relieft, he is currently changing my BP med and referred me to a cardiologist. I see the cardiologist next week. I cannot take many BP meds, was on Atenolol with choleline with best results. He felt diuretic set off my gout, have been on lasix and HCTZ, cholchine, indomethicine, allopurinol. Seems when I am dry is when I get the gout yet withou the diuretic I have have elevated BP's, difficulty breathing with extreme edems, have gained about 18 lbs past 3 weeks while off diuretic. Since you have practiced so long thought you might have some additional information? Thanks, Debra YYYY@YYYY
