I am 65, have been healthy, except asthma, on gluten free, healthy organic diet. Was on a trip and because of the hurricane ran out of my excellent multi vitamin powders and was eating gluten and more salty foods than normal. In a week on a less healthy diet gained the 10 lbs I had lost just from the nutrition and diet changes I had previously made. After a dinner of scallops, my ankles swelled and swelling subsided after I took my last remaining vitamin powders. Than while driving 15 hours home, ankles swollen again and had a nosebleed. Blood pressure 145/80 which is not normal. Wondering if I should be concerned. HOme now, took my vitamin powders, and beet juice and omega 3's.
Should I see a dr tomorrow? None of this is normal for me.
