I am 65 years old. For at least 5 years now, I have noticed black sand-like grains when I shower and wash around anus. I have leaky bowel that leaves stains in my underwear. I eat spinach every day and frequently eat cereals having 22 to 28 percent RDA of fiber. What is causing these har sand-like grains?
