I Am 66, Had A Mastoidectomy 16yrs Ago And Have

I am 66, had a mastoidectomy 16yrs ago and have balance/dizzy problems occasionaly. Yesterday my neck cricked, it does sometimes, but I've had dizzy spells quite a bit today. Could it be vertigo? I'm concerned too because I'm on a 9 hour flight in 3 days.
