I am 68.5 years old, in good health, and female. I have lost about 45 pounds since last January 29th. I am maintaining the eating plan and exercise plan of the Curves Complete program. In fact, my exercise has increased in the last several months. However, I have begun experiencing problems with elimination. My gynecologist told me last spring that I have a prolapsed uterus and a rectocele. He said they could be treated surgically, but it could wait. In the last three weeks, I'm only defecating every 4 or 5 days, as opposed to daily or every other day. I've begun putting weight back on and gained back some girth in my middle at my weigh and measure today. I feel bloated and uncomfortable. I have upped my regular 3 fiber tablets at bedtime to 4 for the last week, and still the very slow movement.
I couldn't get an appointment with my doctor until February 2nd. What should I do about my exercise program? I can feel things "dropping" after a workout, but I hate to give up the value of exercise.
Thank you for any suggestions.
