Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 70 years old, diagnosed one year ago with Waldnnstrom's, have had a monthly course of chemo, rituxin, and for the next two years will have chemo every other month. The Dr. isn't seeing me anymore altho I'm sure I can ask for an appt. I want to move home to Colorado with my family. I do not want to be aggressive with treatment. What should I expect as far as ...? I do not want any aggressive therapy-just want it to run its course. What should I expect? Right now I hurt all over and have no energy. I sleep with medication but would stay in bed all day if I could. What are the symptoms of being end stage and when is it time to say no more?
