I Am 72 . I Have Been Suffering From A

I am 72 . I have been suffering from a pudendal nerve problem for the past 3years. Most Drs never heard of it an have treated me like I was a nut case. In reality pudendal nerve inflammation or entrapment is real and frequently misdiagnosed. I have seen a dr in MN who specialises in it. I have had steroid injection for it but it didn't help. A pain clinic finally ordered an MRI which showed menigeal cysts on the pudendal nerve. I then contacted Dr. Fegenbauer in Dallas for consutation. I later had surgery to have the cysts respected. They said it probably wouldn't stop the pain, it will stop the progression of the getting larger . After the surgery the pain seemed to be worse....probably because the trauma of surgery in addition to the existing problem. I had bed taking nor of or pain for the last 2years since . My GP wanted me off the norco because he said I was injuring myself with all the Tylenol in it. My creatinine was twice the normal high. They had also put me on a fentanyl patch at 12.5 strength, which I didn't think helped at all then they put me on cymbalta, which I wasn't happy with due to the difficulty of getting off it. My Dr. poo-pooed that whole thinking. I had been to a pain clinic and they said there was no other treatment for me except to continue the existing meds. I am presently at a different pain management clinic. My first visit he put me on methadone and Pamelor and then I was to wean myself off the other 2 meds ......which I did. As I went to pick up my Pamelor at the pharmacy, they had cAlled my dr and said it was dangerous to take Pamelor with the methadone. The clinic said they never heard of such a thing, but a visiting dr gad cancelled it anyway. I had been on the Pamelor for over 2 months and now I'm in tears all the time . Is there anything that I can take? I never took antidepressants in my life. Now I feel. Like I'm your everyday drug addict? Now the pain is back and I I'm afraid they will give me something that will be harmful.
