I Am 72 Year Old Woman, RN, W/ 20 Year

I am 72 year old woman, RN, w/ 20 year hx of hypertension (200/100 untreated). Family hx of vascular dementia & cva. Currently on verapamil 80 mg qid for SVT w/ arrythymia, Triamterene 37.5 /25, and Benicar 20 mg qd. Maintenence B/P is 130-140/76-86. Medicare is denying Benicar due to cost, and I am looking for a possible angiotensin 11 inhibitor because I cannot take ace inhibitors or beta blockers. Is there a generic equivalent that can be prescribed to maintain my cardiovascular health? Thanks, Marti Sears
