I Am 73 And My Bladder Has Been Falling Out
I am 73 and my bladder has been falling out for about 6 months now. My Gyn. had me use vaginal estrogen for 6 weeks before fitting me for a pessary. When it arrived she installed it. It felt ok in the office. Three days later I had to have her remove it as it was very painful to sit, bend, stoop etc. I'm back on Estrace for 8 weeks.
Problem is that I cannot get the applicator inserted because the bladder is so far out and hard. Not getting the Estrace I need. By the afternoon I can hardly urinate and it is becoming painful. Should I see a urologist next?
