I Am 73 Yrs. Old, Female. Saw Doctor/ass. For Yearly

I am 73 yrs. old, female. Saw doctor/ass. for yearly health checkup last week.. One thyroid pill per day is all the meds I take. She said she heard a heart murmur and told me to get an appt. with a Cardio, which I did..Appt. in 3 weeks. What should I expect? Normally am in great shape..high cholesterol but will refuse statins?
