I Am 78 Year Old Female Who Has Developed Anxiety

I am 78 year old female who has developed anxiety attacks. What should I get for this.
My doctor has be on pain meds for my spinal stenosis, RA and I am diabetic. How should I discuss
this with my doctor, that I need something for these attacks. They are unbelieveably uncontrolable.
I am retiree R.N. but don't know much about these attacks. Please give me any information
that you can to help me. These attacks are interfereing with my every day activitis.
