I Am 8 Weeks Pregnant Now (1st Pregnancy). I Didn't

I am 8 weeks pregnant now (1st pregnancy). I Didn't have any appointment with gynac so far. Since my insurance will be activated only from april 2016 I will be able to visit doctor in April. I am taking folvite tabs since sep 2015, continuing the same till date. I will be starting my prenatal tabs as per my family physician advice ( Nature made prenatal multi+ DHA) from march 1st.
Please suggest do I need to see the doctor right away or is it okay if i wait till i complete 3 months (i.e. April 2016).
