I Am 80 Years Old. I Have Neuropathy And I

I am 80 years old. I have neuropathy and I am taking 600 mg of neurontin/gapapintin every day at bed time. I need surgery for trigger finger and carpal tunnel. The doctor says the surgery results may or may not help me because I also have osteopourosis and osteoarthritis in my hands which is quite advanced in my thumbs. I cannot decide whether or not to have this surgery. (This is a question - grimace)
