I Am 80 Years Old And Have Developed Painful Arthritis

I am 80 years old and have developed painful arthritis in my hip and leg (x-rays showed it). I have stage 3 kidney disease, but would like to take Aleve for a short time to see if I can regain the ability to walk more comfortably. Or should i take Ibuprofen? Extra strength Tylenol no longer helps much. If I take one 12-hour Aleve, it helps more. Can I take Aleve for a few days?
