I Am 84 And Have Been Having Some Difficulty Breathing

I am 84 and have been having some difficulty breathing at night lately. Tonight I have beennervous and difficulty breathing and got up to take my blood pressure. It is ok,but my pulse is 38 and 40 during the last hour. I am aprehensive and am asking if there is somethingI can do for immediate treatment at home. I cannot drive in this condition and have just paid enormous bills in last few months because of broken hip nad and rehab. Thanks
