I Am 85 Years Old Lady And Recently I Have

I am 85 years old lady and recently I have developed heaviness in breathing along with need to clear my throat very frequently. I only have difficulty in breathing-in and not breathing out. May times my voice also changes due to the need for frequent clearing of my throat and normalizes with in one day. I am diabetic for last 8 years or so and am able to keep it under control with tablets and food. i consulted a Pulmanolagist and he had advised me with inhaler and puff. Although I get temporary relief on heaviness in breathing, it has no improvement on the need to clear my throat frequently. I do not have any throat pain or Cough and my BP is under control. I take anti acid tablet zintak every night in addition to the diabetic tablet. It is very uneasy and difficult to clear my throat every minute. Please advice.
