I Am A 16 Year Old Male, And I Have

I am a 16 year old male, and I have this pink patch on the bottom left corner of my lip, it's pretty much remained the same for about 1 and half years, what could it be? The doctor I went to did a biopsy and said it was a mild benign keratosis, please give me clarification and a possible cure, thanks :)
