I Am A 26 Year Old Female And I Have

I am a 26 year old female and I have had ear problems my entire life. I had 4 tube surgeries when I was little but I have now had pain in my right ear for about 4 months. I went to my doctor to have her look at it and they tried to drain it but it was too painful for me to stand and she said that she couldn't see my actual eardrum because it was buldging and there was a lot of scar tissue. I also have ringing in my ear and sometimes a pulsating sensation. I am wondering if 1) I should go see an ENT, 2) If i will need to get surgery on it again 3) If I do get surgery, will it help or hurt?
