I Am A 32 Yr Old Female About 5'5 And

I am a 32 yr old female about 5'5 and 141 lbs. I just started having problems with recurrent bv this year. A few days ago started experiencing spotting and pain on left side and now having thick mucous like discharge. Not like the thin clear egg white type that comes with ovulation but thicker and tinted with blood and also some gritty like discharge that I have to dig out as well and still spotting. I am itchy down there at times. The first day of my last period was about 12 days ago. Had a pap done yesterday but my doc said everything looked fine(so far) and she did not see any bv, but there was not really any discharge i believe because of bathing prior to appt. Have been tested for std's already which were negative. I am currently having slight pain in my right pelvic area. I'm starting to get worried what could this be?
