I Am A 36 Year Old Female, When I Was

I am a 36 year old female, when I was 20 I developed shingles on my back. I have felt out of sorts for a few weeks and after a very late partying with a lot of alcohol consumed I woke up to painful blister above my eyebrow and another on the corner of my mouth. I sometimes get coldsores put never in this spot, I think I have had a blister over my eye before. My sister had shingles on her face a month ago and we spent a few days in each others company, I am wondering if there is way of discerning whether I have a coldsores or shingles and what should I do?
