I Am A 41 Yr Old Female. My Lymph Node

I am a 41 yr old female. My lymph node in my left groin has become swollen and sore in the last few days. It's painful to walk. I have been dealing with a cold and/or allergies not sure which since the spring blooming season. Not sure if I should see a dr. or if it will likely go away on its own.
