I Am A 43 Year Old Female. A Couple Of

I am a 43 year old female. A couple of nights ago I woke up and needed to use the bathroom and get a drink, something I do every night. I urinated and was drinking some Luke warm tap water when I instantly had the most incredible pain in the middle of my chest and was unable to breath.it was a crushing pain, it was about a 20 on the 1-10 pain scale. In the middle of the intense pain I had a sensation like something had popped or exploded in my chest. I don't remember much after that. My husband said that I stumbled a few feet into the bedroom and collapsed straight to the floor. He tried a few times to wake me before I awoke in a dazed state. I still had incredible chest pain and had a sensation that I was having a hard time swallowing. He got me back on the bed and I lost consciousness again. I spent the last few days in the hospital ruling out anything heart related. The doctor said that his best theory was that my esophagus spawned and caused vasovagal syncope. Which made sense except that 3 other times I have had significant chest pain, not as severe, with no loss of consciousness. I was not eating or drinking with any of these episodes. This has been very scary and I don't know where to go from here.
