I Am A 43 Year Old Woman, Experiencing Heaviness In

I am a 43 year old woman, experiencing heaviness in the chest, some dry cough, little to no nasal congestion. I am having difficulty speaking, I can only whisper. My throat was sore a day or two ago, but not really now. Trying to talk really takes a lot of effort. I am wondering if this is just a chest cold, maybe laryngitis...I have no fever.
