I Am A 46 Year Old Female, I Have Noticed

I am a 46 year old female, I have noticed in the past two days an unpleasant odor from my vagina. I do have a milky-white discharge, but no itching. My period is due in a couple weeks. I have noticed a discharge like this before, but without this odor. Also I am trying to get pregnant and don't know if this is any possible relation to pregnancy.
